The protection of your personal data matters to us. We process data exclusively within the framework of the applicable laws (in particular the GDPR and the German BDSG). Use of our website is generally possible without providing any personal data.

What data we process

• When you visit the website: technical access data (including IP address), solely for the secure operation of the website.
• For contact and booking enquiries: the data you provide (e.g. name, address, email, phone, travel dates) — solely to process your enquiry and to fulfil the rental contract.
• For anonymised audience measurement we use self-hosted, privacy-friendly analytics software with anonymised IP addresses — without personal profiles and without transfer to third parties.

Cookies

We use only technically necessary cookies (e.g. for your language preference and to protect against cross-site request forgery). We do not use marketing or tracking cookies.

Maps (Google Maps)

On our contact page we embed a map from Google Maps (provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). When the map loads, your IP address is transmitted to Google; a transfer to the USA may occur. This is based on our legitimate interest in making the estate easy to find (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Legal bases & storage period

We process your data on the basis of Art. 6 GDPR — in particular for contract performance (lit. b) for enquiries and bookings, and on the grounds of legitimate interest in secure website operation (lit. f). We store personal data only for as long as necessary for the respective purpose or as required by statutory retention obligations; we delete it thereafter.

Recipients

For operating the website and sending emails we use carefully selected service providers as processors (Art. 28 GDPR). The servers are operated within the EU.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict the processing of, port and object to your data. To exercise these rights, please contact ferien@gut-nehmten.de. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (for Schleswig-Holstein: Unabhängiges Landeszentrum für Datenschutz, ULD).
