Lake Plön is Germany's tenth-largest lake — and we sit right on its western shore. Swimming in summer, fishing in autumn, the magic of ice in winter.

Hiking

Straight from the estate into the forest.

Marked hiking trails start right at the estate yard — from a walk through the forest on Lake Plön to a day tour through Holstein Switzerland. The Holstein Switzerland nature park is on the doorstep, with more than 200 lakes and signposted routes.

Cycling

From the estate to the Baltic Sea.

The cycling loop around Lake Plön is 50 kilometres long, mostly flat with only the occasional climb. The Baltic coastal cycle route is 35 minutes away.

Golf

Waldshagen golf course is 15 minutes away, Hohwacht and Timmendorfer Strand about 45 minutes.
